The short fashion documentary, Gliese 504, explores the journey of unique hand-dyed pieces curated by Italian stylist, Stella, from the Melbourne-based dye studio to the Rose Street Fitzroy Artists’ Market. Accompanied by vibrant, dreamy cut scenes of models strutting the grungy streets of Melbourne and posing in the photo studio, Stella talks about her brand’s mission to combat fast fashion by sustainably reviving ‘deadstock’ with a range of innovative dyeing methods such as Japanese Shibori dyeing, ice dyeing, and reverse dyeing. To accompany this documentary, smaller cuts for socials were made as short eye-catching glimpses into the unique pieces and processes of Gliese 504.
